Toronto, Canada: PhenoTips is thrilled to announce the company’s recent recognition as one of 200 Best Canadian Startup Employers. Coinciding with its decade anniversary, the company is honoured by this achievement made possible by an outstanding team, a future-forward product, and support from the PhenoTips user community.

PhenoTips was selected as one of 200 best employers from 1,500 Canadian companies shortlisted for the award. The selected companies were evaluated based on employer reputation, employee satisfaction, and business growth. To determine the companies’ reputation as employers, the prestigious business magazine combed through social media posts, articles, and blogs, leveraging text analytics to determine the percentages of positive, negative, and neutral sentiments. Staff retention, online reviews, and employee offerings were assessed to determine employee satisfaction, while growth was determined by recruitment ads, staff numbers, and website traffic. Together, this data populated a scoring model that established PhenoTips as one of the top 200 Canadian startup employers.

“We are honoured by this recognition from such a respected voice in business journalism,” says PhenoTips’ Head of Human Resources Terry Bettencourt. “Nothing is more important to us as a company than creating a shared workspace that values the human beings behind each role and position. As PhenoTips continues to grow, we will continue building a community that rewards initiative, balance, collaboration, and respect where each individual feels connected to the goals of the whole.”
