Drawing a pedigree is a central part of many genetic counseling practices, both as a method to capture important family history and as a rapport building tool. Replacing traditional pen and paper methods, PhenoTips’ pedigree builder is the most discussed, examined, and noted feature of the complete Genomic Health Record. To demonstrate the potential of digitization in genetic counseling, PhenoTips hosted a mock genetic counseling session featuring live pedigree drawing.

More than just a pedigree tool

PhenoTips is a complete Genomic Health Record for genetic professionals.
