To support genetic counselors in transition, PhenoTips hosted thought leader and expert in the field of tele-genetics, Elizabeth Turner, to share her experiences in, and best practices for virtual genetic counseling.

Elizabeth Turner is an ABGC certified genetic counselor who has practiced in the areas of oncology, pediatrics, reproductive health and general genetics. Believing that genetic counseling should be accessible for all, she founded Advanced Tele-Genetic Counseling (ATGC), one of the first tele-genetics companies to enter the industry. As a tele-genetics pioneer and the CEO and co-founder of ATGC, Elizabeth has been featured in articles, television episodes, and in speaking engagements, including speaking at the 2019 Southeast Regional Genetics Network conference.
